Isaac Mizrahi to Open Manhattan Store

New York-based designer Isaac Mizrahi has plans to open a 1,500-sq.-ft. store for his signature line, Isaac Mizrahi New York, in Manhattan later this summer, according to WWD.com. The New York store will be Mizrahi’s first freestanding store, and will feature his accessories, shoes and sportswear, said Marisa Gardini, president and CEO of the label. Mizrahi is currently the designer of Liz Claiborne New York and has also previously designed collections with Target and Bergdorf Goodman. The new Mizrahi store is still under construction and is expected to open in late August.
